Firefighter character, Lily Maddox. The name Lily Maddox was inspired from two people. Greg loves the name Lily and there's a darling waitress at a restaurant, Cafe Habana, we love in Malibu. So Lily became one of the first character names on the show. How appropriate since Lydia Hull, was the first cast member we hired too. Maddox came from one of my best friends in junior high school and high school, Harry Maddox. Sadly, I lost touch with him after we graduated but often think of all of our giggles!
