Christmas Eve Pillow Treat

Some think Christmas in a hotel is no fun. I seem to find myself in hotels for Christmas quite often.  Most years Hawaii, but often even when I'm home in LA, I go to a great hotel for Christmas.  Being in Cape Town for the holidays was great.  Many traditions are different and many are the same. Simple is the theme here and I loved that… So this simple little ginger bread cookie made for the perfect adornment on my pillow to say goodnight.

So one thing Camps Bay in Cape Town is known for is NOT having internet reception. Well, honestly, for anyone wondering why they don't hear from me often, this is our means of internet in Cape Town. A "dongel" and a booster.

The Bay Hotel

First stop the Bay Hotel in Camps Bay to check in and freshen up! The hotel has been home for all of us on SAF3 since July! We love it!!! It's absolutely gorgeous and the beach where we film and our set is literally across the street!

Splashes at Sunset

There was a fun art exhibit by Jenny Sandersson who played Ali on SAF3 and who is engaged to Dolph Lundgren.  The exhibit was at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay. The show was partly organized by SAF3 cast member Jocelyn Oscorio.  Most of the SAF3 cast attended the event including Dolph, Greg Bonann, J.R. Martinez, Lydia Hull, Danielle Anderson, Texas Battle, Pia Lamberg, and Karl Thaning.

I love Holi!

The best thing about The Bay Hotel is the AMAZING staff! 

Holi is at the top of the list greeting everyone with his amazing bright smile and kindness everyday! Always happy taking care of others with such a beautiful heart!

The Stairs Workout

Okay, so Santa Monica is famous for it's "Stairs" to work out on. I found the Clifton stairs here in Cape Town. Funny thing is, Nelson Mandela's face is on the stairs!

So excited to arrive in Camps Bay in Cape Town South Africa for this amazing journey that I have dreamed of for so long...
